Polish Society for Electroacoustic Music (PSeME)

Polish section of the International Society for Electroacoustic Music (ISEM/CIME) in Bourges.

Jozef Patkowski died on October 26, 2005 in Warsaw in age of 75 years. We lost the big authority of new music, "father" of Polish electroacoustic music, founder and former director of Experimental Studio of Polish Radio, Electronic Music Studio at the Academy of Music in Krakow, former President of Polish Composer Union and director of Warsaw Autumn festival. Polish culture lost a big personality.

The main goal of the Polish Society for Electroacoustic Music (PSeME) is a promotion of Polish electroacoustic art (electronic music, video art, sound installation, audiovisual and interactive art) abroad, inside the network of festivals, concert series and all other electroacoustic art projects coordinated by the International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music (CIME) in Bourges (supported by UNESCO). Polish Society of Electroacoustic Music organizes concerts with electronic music of the second half of the XX century and the most modern and advanced forms of electronic art.
