Ryszard Klisowski
Curriculum vitae Richard M. Klisowski (* 29.10.1937 Luck) composer, violinist, music - theoretician, professor of composition (Academy of Music, Wroclaw) . He studied violin with Edward Statkiewicz , music theory , and composition with T. Natanson in Poland (Wroclaw) ,and with Erich Urbanner and Roman Haubenstock- Ramati in Austria (University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Vienna ). 1977 he finished his studies of composition with honours . He also studied electroacoustics music with Dieter Kaufmann in Vienna (Institute for Electroacoustics and Experimental Music).
1977 - ORF Promotion - Award for "Anantas- Emanation" f. Mezzosopran und orchester (Vienna,A) 1989 - Grand Prix for "Luck-Holocaust" for organ and percussion (Legnica, PL) 1992 - highest in Szymanowski's Competition ( 2nd prize for "Sonata - Fantaisie" pour violon seul ,Warsaw PL) 1999 -1 st prize for "Baceviciana .Druid story" for violin and piano (Warsaw, PL) 2000 - Promotion Award for "Mantra- tantra" for voice, SPX Yamaha, tape, violin and piano (Seul,Korea, Inter. Computer Music , festival 2000).
In 1978 Richard Klisowski opened his own studio of experimental music and founded the GEMEL - the Electronic Music Experimental Group, Authors Studio and Edition (1979). With Group Gemel he gives concerts and promotes electronic and experimental music . He worked with "Centre of Light" Wroclaws, Mime Theatre "Gest"; Oratorio- Cantata festivals "Wratislavia Cantans" by Concert- Exhibition opening "Music and Fine Arts" and by "Old Music" performing. He organized the fourth edition of international New Music Days called "The Days of 20 th century Music". He has associated with the Academy of music in Wroclaw since 1978. He has lectured at the "University of Music...in Vienna, the Hogeschool Enschede the Netherland and Warsaw.
